Final Presentation

 September 20th, 2023

The final presentation day in the Sea Teacher program was a very meaningful closing moment in my educational journey in Thailand. This is a time where we have the opportunity to share experiences, celebrate successes, and enjoy local culture and cuisine.

When I presented about my four-week teaching experience in Thailand, I felt proud and grateful for this opportunity. I talk about the challenges, achievements, and lessons we learned throughout the program. This sharing session allowed us to interact with students at Lampang Rajabhat University, providing additional insight into Thai education and culture.

Then, we continued with cultural performances from each of our countries, namely Indonesia and the Philippines. We present our own dance, music and cultural aspects. It's a beautiful way to celebrate the cultural diversity among us and share bits and pieces of our culture with an audience.

After the presentation, we received a certificate recognizing our efforts and accomplishments during the program. It was a proud moment and reminded us of the importance of our education and hard work.

That evening, we were invited to try local food, namely Som Tam or papaya salad. The taste is sour and spicy which captivates our taste buds. While enjoying this delicious meal, we also created a TikTok video together, reflecting the fun and friendship that had formed during the program.

The next day, on September 23, we started our journey to Bangkok. During the trip, we also stopped at a tourist spot called Ayutthaya, which is a place that Lisa from Black Pink, a celebrity from Korea, has visited. It is an interesting experience to witness this culturally rich historical site.

After visiting Ayutthaya, we continued on to Bangkok, which was the highlight of our trip. On September 24, my Sea Teacher friends and I returned to Indonesia. This trip was a wonderful conclusion to our experience in Thailand, which has provided us with valuable lessons, unforgettable memories and an introduction to the rich culture and friendliness of the local people.

Lastly, the thing that I can't possibly forget is the memories of meeting good people or new family there.
