Arrival in Thailand

     At 2 a.m. I went to Juanda airport using a travel car with my friend and was accompanied by my lecturer, namely Anjani and also Mr. Sopingi from Universitas Negeri Malang. At 3.30 a.m. we arrived at Juanda Airport and continued our trip to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport until 6.25 a.m. After that, we wait for the next schedule to go to Bangkok Donmueang Airport until 9.35 a.m. We spent time waiting for the departure schedule by wandering around the airport.  We spent time waiting for the departure schedule by wandering around the airport until we finally decided to wait after checking our luggage at immigration. The funny thing is that when checking my luggage, the immigration officer told me to take out the contents of my bag because I was carrying 3 bottles of drinking water was my own mother. Finally, we boarded the plane to continue our trip to Thailand.

    When we arrived there at 1 pm we were immediately greeted by a lecturer from LPRU who is usually called Ma'am Ying. She smiled warmly while waving her hand and saying "Welcome to Thailand Raihan and Anjani"


When I arrived in Thailand, I felt the warmth of the tropical sun welcoming me. This is the beginning of my trip to Thailand in the SEA Teacher Batch 9 program. After I talked to Ma'am Ying while waiting for a taxi, I continued my Journey to rest by renting a hostel in Bangkok, because we would go to Lampang on the next day. The hostel I stayed in was a gathering place for exchange students who would go to Lampang, the hostel was called Suvarnabhumi. 

    At 4 p.m. I went with my friends from the sea teacher program JM, Tracy, from the Philippines, and Silvia, Mega, from Indonesia, as well as my friend Anjani from the same campus to go to the Chatuchak weekend market until 9 p.m. 

    The next day August 28, 2023, before the trip to Lampang I met students from the Philippines who had just arrived, namely Ivan and Shaina. After that, the trip continued to Lampang from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. Our journey is approximately 10 hours. I was the first person to go down with my friend JM in Lampang, to the teacher's apartment which was inside the school, or you could say my roommate. because we were placed in the same school at Lampang Sports School. When I got to my room to rest, I felt very grateful for the opportunity to study in another country. Before going to bed I prepare for the first week, which is the week of orientation.

Final Presentation

  September 20th, 2023      The final presentation day in the Sea Teacher program was a very meaningful closing moment in my educational journey in Thailand. This is a time where we have the opportunity to share experiences, celebrate successes, and enjoy local culture and cuisine.      When I presented about my four-week teaching experience in Thailand, I felt proud and grateful for this opportunity. I talk about the challenges, achievements, and lessons we learned throughout the program. This sharing session allowed us to interact with students at Lampang Rajabhat University, providing additional insight into Thai education and culture.      Then, we continued with cultural performances from each of our countries, namely Indonesia and the Philippines. We present our own dance, music and cultural aspects. It's a beautiful way to celebrate the cultural diversity among us and share bits and pieces of our culture with an audience.  ...
